Half-day or 2-hr introductory session on Building Learning Power for strategic leaders.
The aim of this session is to inform strategic leaders about the purpose, scope and versatility of Building Learning Power. The TLO consultant will discuss with school leaders what is involved to make a success of deepening learning in school, so that you are able to make an informed decision as to how you wish to proceed.
What does the content include?
- An outline of how learning-how-to learn has evolved and how effective schools are operating now
- A practical evaluation of the habits and dimensions of effective learning
- An introduction to a common language for deepening learning
- An exploration of the role of school leaders in fostering a learning powered culture
- Development planning for whole-school action
